In the early days, people exploited the clay and manufactured wine bottles in Shangyi, Kinmen, so Kinmen had an area for a waste from clay mining.

In 1995, Kinmen County Government planted more than 20,000 trees and the grassland of 3 hectares as well as a huge plantation. The Government also reclaimed the land, greened the environment and turn the original waste land into this park.

Various duplicated Wind Lion Gods from villages all of the Kinmen Island are decorated inside and create a unique setting. Currently, the sustainable park has also been utilized as the office of Environmental Protection Bureau of Kinmen County.
