Speaking of a blueprint, perhaps the one in Tainan is what comes to most people’s mind. However, there is also a blueprint in Kinmen that features authentic Kinmenese characteristics.
Tourists come to Kinmen for its abundant battlefield relics. Therefore, Kinmen’s Zhongbao Blueprint is inspired by the military recreational activity, billiards. Based on the layout of a billiard room, a blueprint is created featuring elaborate architectural details of the roof, interior decor and a billiard table. As common neighborhood wall paintings are not as exciting anymore, Zhongbao Blueprint is for sure an innovative way of revitalizing idle spaces.
