Kinmen Travel

Shanwai is the second largest town on the main island of Kinmen. There are many attractions reachable by bus from the Shanwai Bus station.

The tourist information desk inside the station is open from 8am to 6pm. There are public toilets and a taxi stand just outside the bus station.

3 different Mandarin-Chinese guided bus tours (Taiwan Trip Tourism Bus) depart from Shanwai Station: routes C, D and E.

If you have time up your sleeve while waiting for a bus, you can walk straight out of the bus station, cross the street to a public square, and continue straight along Fuxing Rd. The mix of small shops which reflect Shanwai's history as a soldier town are good for window shopping or special souvenirs!
